Abstract

Feminist aesthetics has made women aware that there is no fundamental distinction that can distinguish the writings of women and men. The origin of feminine aesthetic consciousness in the subcontinent is more visible in the late nineteenth century when women started writing alongside men. Various means of expression were available to these writings, including a monthly magazine "Ismat. In the articles of "Ismat" monthly, women were informed that if a woman is educated, she can educate and train other women and illiterate people with her knowledge and skills. In this paper, the role of Mahnama Ismat in the evolution of feminine aesthetics in the Pakistan is presented.

Abstract

Humor is the beauty of creative literature, which is based on this atmosphere and on the delicate symbols in which it is created. The writer uses Farce to give more meaning and importance to his ideas. If we speak of the origin of the farce in literature, we find its beginning from Ameer Khusro. His work of keh-mukerni, doskhney and Alnamal. Where the elements of humor were created with the use of broken sentences. Through this genre, Sajjad Husain, Ahmad Ali Shoq, etc. used humor as a socio-political critic and tried to develop harmony among civilizations. For Awadh Panch, the era that was of raptures, attacks, and accidents. At this time, we see the line of many poets and prose writers who oppose pessimism and escape and fight these circumstances with satire and humor. But when we see the tradition of satire and humor, we find many famous examples and names in the history of satire and humor. Now, Ali Raza Ahmad and Waheed Ur Rehman are serving in this field. In this article, the comical writings of Waheed Ur Rehman will be critically assessed as a new humorous author in the tradition of Urdu literature

Abstract

The novel under titled “Jandar” of Akhtar Raza Saleemi was published in 2017. It’s a new addition to the fiction in Urdu literature. It’s received the UBL Literary Award for fiction 2019. In this novel the author highlighted the traditions and cultures of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially of district Hazara. The author is mourning over the culture lag and by the vanishing of positive sanctions and standards in the cultures of these areas. Through this article the author wants to convey the different aspects and the cultural pattern of these areas to the Urdu readers to preserve and promote it in a better way.

Abstract

Every artist's concept of beauty is his individual process and it varies according to his location and environment. Beauty has its own form which belongs to our mind. Therefore, beauty is also a creation of our imagination and passion and desire. The level of beauty is different in different people and it keeps changing. There can be no single definition of aesthetics; its different aspects can be understood by its different interpretations. Aesthetics is the feeling and expression of the consciousness of human nature. Along with human literature, science, philosophy, psychology, religions and other social sciences have also been the main topic in sociology on the compatibility and conflict between man and society. In the novels of Rahim Gul, man is seen as a clear personality. Here the individual creates his personal behavior from the overall behavior of the society. That is, the characters are the main point of the novel, living in a certain era. In fact, it is a novel in search of truth, which has been expressed by Amtal. In the novel, three main characters are Amtal, Waseem and Atif.

Abstract

In this paper, a research study of Dr. Izharullah Izhar’s novel “Akheri Muhabbat” is presented. The main theme of this novel is love. But here the philosophy of consistency, liberty and evolution in love is described which is a new addition in terms of style. The novel also contains post-modern elements. In it, the expression of elements such as pluralism, intertextuality, feminism, post-colonialism and globalization is prominent.Dr. Izhar has successfully presented his notions regarding love in this novel. The story of the novel revolves around Danial and Palwasha. The writer collected the material for his novel from social environment and portrayes the events logically developing the plot effectively clearly shows the potential of Dr. Izhar as a successful fiction writer.

Abstract

The pak-India wars, especially the 17-day war of 1965, greatly influenced urdu poerty. Not only did the number of songs increase, but the enlightenment of history of nationalities began. The love and attachment of the home land to every thinghas manifested itself in the form of national anthems. National anthems increase their influence. Different genres of poetry expand their scope by accepting the influence of national anthems. The stability of the tradition of national songwriting in the short period of the establishment of Pakistan gradually had an impact on other poetry as well. The relationship with the Islamic civilization was cut off from the Indian civilization. Urdu poetry became a national unity. The ideas of dimensionality, civilization and culture, regional harmony, unity, soil of the land of Pakistan emerged in various forms.

Abstract

Asad Muhammad Khan is a fiction writer, but along with, he has also made a distinct identity by writing poems and songs in literary world. His song’s collection "Rokey Hovay Sawan", firstly released in 1977 but the included songs written in 70s. His literary life started with these songs and poems that published from time to time in various literary magazines and digests. He has described these songs as his ‘first love’. These songs have the charm of Hindi language. He has done many experiments in ‘form’. In his songs, both chanting and music combines to create a strange atmosphere. Like traditional folk songs, in these songs he has expressed immense love for his lover on the part of a love-struck woman. He has immortalized the 14 rag-ragas of music in the form of his songs.His love for the soil of his homeland becomes a song. Abstract

Abdullah Hussain's novel "Nadaar Log" firstly published in 1996. The novel covers events from 1897 to 1974, making it a diverse representation of the time period. The subject matter and characters reflect this diversity. The story of the "Nadaar Log" is told before and after the partition of India by Abdullah Hussain. In this seventy-seven-year period, every major event in Pakistan and India is the subject of the novel. The characters are affected by these events, and the novel explores the effects on them. All the characters seem to be oppressed by time and circumstances. Their helplessness is a prelude to contentment with fate and non-resistance to a cruel and oppressive ruler. While men face numerous challenges in their external lives, women are not safe even within the walls of their own homes. Therefore, the novel shows how various positive and negative factors affect the lives of women.

His Drama Anarkali is considered masterpiece in the history of Urdu Drama.In his Dramas he portraits historical, social and cultural facts in artistic manner.He illustrates the problems of man with humanistic approach.Although the main themes of Anarkali are romantic and historical but in this play he elaborates the different shades of human psyche and traits in socio historical background. Abstract

Hamd” is an Arabic word which means praise to be God. It is a form of poetry, which in turn is attributed to the praise of Allah. In classical poetry, there are many forms in terms of the structure of the poem. The use of different stanzas for writing “Hamd” is also a feature of Urdu poetry. A critical review has been made which were used by various poets while writing “Hamd”. This paper has been explained with arguments that the paraphrase of the “Hamd” is not only focused on one entity but consists of several technical aspects.
